We are proud to be the exclusive American source for Thai coffee by Nacha Estates, voted "Best Asia Coffee" at the 2007 Long Beach SCAA. These premium-quality heirloom Arabica coffees are unlike anything you have ever tasted.
Most Americans know Thai coffee as a style similar to Vietnamese coffee, with the little metal filter and sweetened condensed milk, which is perfectly true. However, when making Thai coffee in America, we generally also add spices to produce a very complex, sweet, aromatic drink.
Little did we know that authentic Thai coffee is naturally spicy and complex without any added flavorings! When we add spices to our coffees, we're trying to imitate the natural flavors already present in authentic Thai coffees. The beans develop these flavors due to their rich soil, perfect altitude and weather, heirloom genetic heritage, and traditional sun-dried processing.
Nacha Estates Classic Blend
Nacha's Classic Blend is a very accessible introduction to our favorite Arabica. It's blended with a local Catimor variety, resulting in a well-rounded blended coffee flavor profile and, due to the Catimor's rapid growth and heavy yield, a quite reasonable price. To help introduce you all to Nacha's coffees, we have secured a supply of this coffee at a special introductory price; its list price is $6.50, but we're able to offer it for only $5.95 while supplies last!
Nacha Estates Original Blend
The original Thai coffee that won international cupping competitions in California and is bringing worldwide renown to Thailand and Nacha Estates. It's even beaten Kona in taste-tests! This is the best Arabica coffee we have ever tried. It's also surprisingly versatile; this one coffee can be used for Phin or French press, drip, or even espresso - it's the coffee that's inside the Pods.
The one-kilo size is ideal for hosting parties, cafés, or simply keeping your pantry stocked. The Nacha bean is extremely stable and keeps for longer than an ordinary coffee. It's a medium-dry bean that works well in all grinders.
Nacha Estates Coffee Canister
100% pure heirloom Arabica, one of the original varieties of coffees that were first grown in Thailand generations ago. Delicious brewed in our stainless steel Phin filters and served with sweetened condensed milk, it requires no added spices to give you the true Thai coffee experience: complex, spicy flavor, intense aromatics, and light, bright mouthfeel. The coffee is in a foil bag inside the elegant canister, which is beautiful enough to keep as a souvenir or give as a gift.
Nacha Estates Espresso Pods
We're excited to introduce a new coffee style to America: Espresso pods by Nacha, an estate coffee grower located in Thailand. This premium-quality espresso is 100% Arabica, with the brightness of flavor, intensity of aroma, and light, smooth mouthfeel that is the heart's desire of Arabica lovers, plus the slightly spicy taste that distinguishes sun-dried authentic Thai coffee (NO flavorings are added).
These single-serving pods are ideal for use in an ESE pod machine, but we've discovered that pods can also eliminate the guesswork involved in trying to measure your own espresso. The most error-prone process in making espresso is getting the volume of coffee right, and each pod is a perfectly measured single shot's worth of coffee: Simply tear open the pod and pour its contents into your espresso machine's filter. No mess, no trouble, just perfect espresso every time.
The pods are individually wrapped, which also eliminates the problem of needing to use up a bag after you open it. They are available for sale individually or in boxes of 30.
